We often get asked, “Why do you only offer 4-weekly, 8-weekly or Ad-Hoc cleans?” Great question and we’re here to explain exactly why we’ve designed our schedule this way.

🧽 4-Weekly & 8-Weekly – Here’s Why

After years of cleaning across Essex, we found that 5-, 6-, or 7-week intervals just didn’t work not for us, and not for you. Here’s what we learned:

• Too soon? Your windows are still pretty clean, and it feels like you're paying for something you don’t need.

• Too late? The build-up is heavier, takes longer to clean, and throws our pricing and time out of balance.

So, we kept it simple:4-weekly or 8-weekly cleans.

🌬️ The Dirt Factor – It’s All About Location

We’ve cleaned windows everywhere from quiet cul-de-sacs to homes backing onto busy main roads, fields, farms, trees, and even industrial areas. And here’s what we know:

• Busy roads & high footfall areas mean more dust and dirt (thanks pollution!).

• Properties near trees or fields get hit by bird mess, tractor dust, and general grime

• Even quiet homes still gather dust over time, especially after eight weeks.

So, by sticking to 4- or 8-weekly options, we hit the sweet spot.

• 4-weekly means regular, light cleans enough build-up to clean without letting it cake on.

• 8-weekly gives it a bit more time, but not too long that the dirt takes over.

And yes—8-weekly is slightly more expensive than 4-weekly, because there’s more grime to deal with. But it’s still cheaper than paying for two 4-weekly cleans. Win-win!

⏱️ What About Ad-Hoc?

We do offer Ad-Hoc cleans that’s where you tell us when you want your windows done. No set schedule, no commitment.

BUT! (And here comes the honest bit...)Because we don’t visit regularly, there’s usually more dirt to tackle. So we charge a little extra to allow for the extra elbow grease needed to get your windows sparkling again. Think of it as a mini makeover for your glass.
