Let’s have a little chat about something that might raise eyebrows:We’ve removed the option to skip a scheduled clean.Not because we’re being awkward, but because after a lot of trial and error, we’ve realised it just doesn’t work.


🧾 Here’s Why

Every one of our customers gets a reminder a few days before their clean. We do this to give you notice and time to prep. But over time, we noticed a pattern: a handful of skips here and there started causing bigger issues across the board.


For example:

  • You’re booked for a 4-weekly clean. If you skip, it becomes an 8-week job—but you’re still paying the 4-week price.

  • That means dirtier windows, more time on-site, and a delay for everyone else that day because we’ve got to work twice as hard to get things sparkling again.

  • If you're an 8-weekly customer and you skip... that’s a whole 16 weeks between cleans. That’s nearly half a year of grime.


This impacts not just you, but the rest of our customers—and throws our whole day off track.


💸 Why It Matters (Behind the Scenes)

We’re a small business, and like any legitimate company, we’ve got:

  • Wages to pay

  • Insurance and licensing to stay compliant

  • Reliable equipment to maintain

  • And most importantly—a team that relies on consistent, scheduled work


When skips come in unexpectedly, it affects our income for that day/week/month. And while you’re not locked into a contract, having predictable routes helps us plan, budget, and keep our pricing fair and steady for everyone.


We’ve found that offering the ability to skip undermines that stability for both sides.


🎯 But We’re Not Completely Inflexible!

We totally understand life happens.Got scaffolding up? Installing new windows? Having a driveway dug out?Fair enough we can’t clean a window if it isn’t even there! 😅

So yes, in exceptional circumstances, we will happily move or skip your service as a goodwill gesture. And we can usually shift your booking by a few days either side if needed. Just give us a heads-up we’re always happy to work with you.
